Happy Halloween

Blake enjoyed many of the fall festivities including dressing up for the Holtgrewe Halloween Party (he won first prize for the cutest costume), visiting Pumpkin Land at Theis Farm, and going trick 'r treating in our new neighborhood.

Our Little Picasso

Blake has enjoyed his new classroom at his daycare.  He is in a room with 7 other kids betwen the ages of 1-2 years old.  His teachers are great and plan lots of fun activities.  We love Blake's art projects he brings home.  We have quite a collection now.

What has Blake Been up to?

It has been very busy.  We moved into our new home in July and now have a lot more room.  Blake loves roaming about inside and outside.

After Blake's birthday, he moved up to the Toddler Room at his daycare.  He has adjusted very well and has fun going to music time, playing on the playground, and creating many art projects.  He received a great report card from his teachers.

Happy Birthday Blake

  Blake turned one year old today. We can't believe a year has gone by. It is fun to think back at what happened on this day last year.  Everyone was anxiously awaiting Blake's arrival.  He started out so small, but now he is so big.  Blake is almost ready to walk.  He is babbling more.  Today we could have sworn he said the word "apple."  We are so grateful for our little guy.  He had a fun day at home with mom and dad playing with his new toys.  Next weekend is the big First Birthday Party in our new house.

Summertime Fun!

Blake has been enjoying the summer at his Grandma Melba's and Grandpa Dale's house. He is also having fun spending more time with mom at the pool and reading books.  We will be in our new house by the end of July.

Crawling and Standing

Blake has been crawling and standing. He stands and balances himself for a little bit.  He hasn't taken steps on his own yet. Here are some pics!

Blake Takes a Trip

Last Friday, we packed the car and headed west.  We took Blake on his first road trip to Ada, Oklahoma.  He got to meet Kevin's Aunt Gina, Uncle Mel, and Grandma Jewel.  We had a great visit.

Blake loves Duke.  He gets so tickled by Duke and his wagging Tail!

Blake is So Big

Blake has been growing and changing so fast.  At his 6 month check up he weighed 14 lbs. 3 oz.  He now has 2 teeth coming in; he is scooting around; and he is starting to rock on his hands and knees.

Blake Tries Cereal

Blake is one hungry guy these days.  After having a healthy 4 month check up, Blake now weighs 11 lbs. 14 oz.  The doctor said we could start him on cereal and baby food.  Because he seems to love to eat, like his dad, he gobbled up his first bowl of cereal.
